Cup Shield and Pairs competitions The draw for the above has been done. The first name in the draw is responsible for contacting their opponent to arrange a date and time to play their match. All matches to be entered in the competition diary to book the green. Please note only two competition matches to be booked in one day. Priority is given to a competition match so please do not use the other side of the green when a competition game is in progress unless those playing their match have no objection. I urge you to book your matches early, take advantage of dry weather and do not leave the playing of your match till the cut off date. First round matches are to be played by 30 June please.

This is a knock out competition run throughout the season. No handicap and each game is played to 21 points.

The Shield. This is a knock out competition run throughout the season. Full handicap and each game is played to 21 points.

Pairs Competition. Knockout competition, combined half handicap and each match is played to 15 points. You will note we have more than 16 pairs, we have 20 Pairs. This means that 8 Pairs will have to play their first match to take a place in the competition. These eight Pairs will be required to play their first matches by 9 June.
